IAF Result Update 2022:-

Jai Hind Friends, Friends, the Air Force X Y Group exam which was held on 12th to 18th July 2021, the result is going to come soon. Air Force Airmen X Y Group exam was held between 12th to 18th July, it has been almost 7 months since this exam, but its result has not come yet. So friends, it has been announced by CASB that Air Force X Y Result will be declared soon, for this you can visit the official website of Air Force CASB and keep checking your email regularly. 

Candidates who have appeared for Air Force X Y exam can check their result on the official website of Air Force airmenselection.nic.in. 

 Let me tell you here that this was batch of intake 2/2021 whose result has not been released yet. It is expected that the result of Air Force X Y will be released soon by the casb.

Airmen selection procedure

Indian airforce conducts recruitment drive twice in in a year for the post of airmen in group x and y in Indian Air force. Central airmen selection board is the responsible body of to carry out the process of selection and enrollment. CASB has 14 AIRMEN SELECTION CENTRE LOCATED ALL OVER INDIA.

Candidates who cleared this exam are our first required to undergo 12 weeks of joint basic face training at basic training institute Belgaum (Karnataka).

After successful computation of JBPT candidates are allotted trades and the provided trade specific training. An complete edition of trade specific training airmen are deployed for ground-based duties as per their trade.

The selection procedure of the airforce X and y group is 3 phase examination which is spread over a year starting from the notification to the the commencement of training. Hair lets have a look over this process.

PHASE-1

Indian Air force has modernized the whole process and have starting conducting online examination. The exam pattern for both the groups has been given below:-

note- during the first online exam in March 2018 which goat delete and watch actually conducted in may 2018 there was no negative marking in airforce X and y group exam. but starting from airforce X and y group exam 02/2018, IAF started negative marking. you get one mark for each correct answer and 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer.

PHASE-2

Physical Fitness Test

Result of written examination announced with in 3 to 4 weeks of the exam. And new admit card is issued for phase 2 to which starts announced a month after the announcement of result. All the candidates who clear the written exam of airforce X and y group and who are called for the second phase Appear in PFT video and candidates who qualify PFT, gate 2 to appear in adaptability test 1 and adaptability test 2. The pattern of PFT has been given below:-

1.6 KM Race in 6 minutes 30 seconds

        Push ups -10

        Sit ups- 10

        Squats - 20

PFT IS QUALIFYING IN NATURE AND THERE ARE NO MARK ASSIGNED TO THIS LIST.

ADAPTABILITY TEST 1

All the candidates who qualify PFT get to appear in adaptability test 1 (AT1)

Starting 02/2019 IAF has started a new test DFT. So now in AT1 there are two test DFT and SRT.

DFT (DYNAMIC FACTOR TEST)

DFT consists of 20 question which need to to attempt in 15 minut. Questions in DFT are from basic English. One does not need any special preparation for DFT is the antonyms, synonyms, spotting error, fill in the blanks, terms asked in DFT are quite basic and a student who has cleared the English section of the airforce X and y group exam, clears the DFT.

SRT (SITUATION REACTION TEST)

SRT is basically a physiology test.

ADAPTABILITY TEST 2

After the clearing adaptability test 1 applicant get to appear in adaptability test 2. This stage is commonly known as group discussion in in which a normal topic given to the candidates to discuss about its. This topic also known as GD.

PHASE -3

Further after clearing all the stage successfully a candidate is called medical examination after couple of months. After clearing this path it takes around 2-3 mans for the release of all India selection list which is an all India merit list. Those candidate who make their name in this list are served joining letter for the the joint basic sage training.
